Look at
those teeth! Dr.
Matheson was kind enough to come and visit with our class and teach us all about
teeth. Each student was able to take a turn brushing the large set of teeth Dr.
Matheson brought for the students to inspect.
Each of the students
received a goody bag filled with stickers, toothpaste, a new toothbrush, floss and much more. Dr. Matheson brought some of his equipment and showed the students how each one works and what it's purpose is. This really helped ease any concerns the students had about visiting the dentist.
The students really enjoyed having their own set of gloves and a mask. It was a fun way of teaching the children about taking care of their teeth and getting to know that the dentist is just a regular guy.
